I guess that makes it a bit ironic that I'm agnostic? except that it would be completely like my parents to name me something like that too

but, you know, the partying, among other things
Rome did that well

letters could be fun, especially since we're all grounded at this point
I don't know how good I'd be at actually writing something worthwhile though

Well, many people don't think of the meaning of names anymore when deciding on one.

And I bet that you would surprise yourself with the content you can create in written word. Perhaps even a plan for a party as the Romans had.

I don't want you to think that. Sometimes people just like the sound of a name. Aziraphale has no meaning, but it was chosen for me, out of love. The reason doesn't matter.

And many people enjoy parties! It is a valuable social skill, particularly in times of celebration or in times of turmoil. Don't undersell your talents, dear boy. I'm sure you have plenty of other talents besides.

I just ended up being a huge disappointment so now it's pointless both ways

I do like letting people relax and have fun
that's what I like the most about parties
that's why I had that margarita party
