HAPPY HEARTS AC TRACKER
Hi guys,
Not that I thought filling out the AC here was a chore enough to warrant making more spreadsheets, but I made one for myself so I thought I might as well share it. This is native to google sheets, meaning you must have a gmail account in order to run it!
NOTE: Please do a dry run of this with a thread or two for the first time well in advance of the AC deadline in case you have any issues and need help with troubleshooting. Thank you!
Not that I thought filling out the AC here was a chore enough to warrant making more spreadsheets, but I made one for myself so I thought I might as well share it. This is native to google sheets, meaning you must have a gmail account in order to run it!
How to Install
- Go here and select file-->make a copy. It's very important that you only make a copy this way, and not by copying the individual sheets.
- Fill out the AC sheet with your Player Name, Character Name and Character Username in the provided outlined box.
- Fill out the Bank sheet with your AC URL toplevel and any rollover points if you have them.
- You do not have to update anything on the Settings sheet.
- On the file menu bar, select Happy Hearts-->Print AC. The first time you run this, it should ask your gmail permission to run the script. You must select yes!
How to Use
- Use the AC sheet to drop your threads when you make a new one for the month! Make sure only to populate Type with what's in the drop-down list, and only Y/N or leave blank for any fields that have (Y/N) in the title.
- Use the Bank sheet (tab on bottom) to put in your reward requests. Make sure only to populate Item from the drop-down list, and make sure to include a point cost!
- You do not have to manually update anything labeled (auto).
- Whenever you wish to update, go to the file menu bar and select Happy Hearts-->Print AC.
- The tab for Gained Powers is optional and just for your records so you can remember what powers you've already gained!
Troubleshooting/FAQs
- If you accidentally delete a formula, you can always copy it from the link above.
- Do not delete entire rows, or it may effect the single-row items on your sheet.
- Do not leave gaps in your data rows, it confuses the script.
- Make sure you have all appropriate items filled! If you get an error that says "property x undefined" or if items are missing from your output, then they are either missing or misplaced on your spreadsheet.
- Make sure you only have Y, N, or blank on any fields that say Y/N (it's case-sensitive), and only positive integers on any numeric fields.
- Do not change columns, or rename tabs!
